Bulk Food Shop Survey

1. SU Bulk Food Shop

The Student Union aims to expand our affordable, local and organic food services on campus by operating a small bulk-buying shop. By purchasing in bulk we are able to save money for YOU by avoiding the additional costs that supermarkets add on to make a profit. The SU is taking the following initiatives into consideration, and we're looking for your feedback: 1) To purchase directly from Ontario Natural Food Coop, dry and packaged food items, 2) To purchase freshly baked bread from a bakery.

The Bulk Shop would run in conjunction with support our Good Food Box program which delivers fresh fruit and vegetables to OCAD from one of the largest centralized bulk buying organizations in Toronto, FoodShare. Our long term goal is to transform the Bulk Food Shop into a Food Co-op. We would like your input in tailoring the Bulk Food Shop to best suite the needs of the OCAD Community.
