About the Natural Step:
The Natural Step is an international not for profit organization dedicated to sustainable development with offices in 11 countries and networks of activity in many more. Current activities include research, education and advisory and coaching support for businesses and municipalities seeking to take a leadership position on sustainability.
The Natural Step is known for facilitating the development and application of an open-source science based and peer-reviewed framework for strategic planning for sustainability. This now forms the core of an international research initiative and is part of many sustainability education programmes.
