The University of Birmingham LGBTQ are shortly to be launching their Fight for the Right to Party Campaign. The committee throughout the year had received a number of disturbing reports about LGBTQ students facing hostility, discrimination and even violence 'on the scene', when visiting mainstream clubs and venues and also at Student Union events and nights out.

In response, the Fight for the Right to Party campaign aims to tackle this issue from a campus to national level. Information on the campaign will be available soon on www.lgbtq.co.uk

The aim of this survey is to gain deeper understanding of the extent of the issue. Please answer as fully as you can, as the more information we have the better for effectively planning our campaign. All responses are anonymous, but may be quoted in campaign material.
