The spirit of volunteerism and community is one of the things that makes cooperatives great! Over the past 40 years in operation, PFC has utilized volunteers for many "in-house" and in the community activities. At this point in our history, we are working to provide an opportunity for "Collective Action" in our community. This means members can use PFC to collectively support activities and organizations that are working to increase the health of the community or the environment. Our volunteer opportunities will reflect this goal and we'd love to have you be a part of this effort!
Volunteering within the co-op is open to all of our members, as one of the many benefits of membership. If you are a non-member but are interested in the co-op values and want to help the cause, we can direct you to one of our fabulous community partners for opportunities!
