The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) is examining how to better align existing federal housing resources with the acute need for rental housing that is affordable to households with incomes at or below 30% of Area Median Income, also known as extremely low income (ELI) households. Our goal is to develop and recommend public policies that will improve rental housing affordability for the lowest income Americans.

As one part of this project, we are surveying affordable housing developers to identify current rental housing models that successfully serve ELI households without requiring subsidy through federal project- or tenant-based housing vouchers. If you indicate that your organization does this, we may contact you for more information. Our goal is to choose some successful models to highlight in a brief report.

This survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Please complete this survey by 5:00 pm ET on Friday, May 31st.

If you are not the appropriate person in your office to take this survey, please email researchintern1@nlihc.org with the name and email address of someone who can answer these questions. Thank you for your time!
