PA Conference - what would you like it to be?

Introduction

My name is Julie and I work for Ruils. Ruils is a user-led, pan-disability charity that supports older and disabled people to live independently at home and in their community. One of the ways that they do this is by helping employers to find Personal Assistants or Carers to employ.

We provide training and support to both PAs and employers and I run a PA Network which brings PAs together once per month to discuss issues and to learn together.

We are hosting the first ever PA Conference in London early March 2014. This is a day for you! A chance for you to meet other PAs, get information about training and career opportunities and get trained up in an area of your choice. And it is FREE!

We want it to be a day that you really value and so would really like to know what you would like it to be. For example, we will be putting on workshops – what topics would you like to see covered. We have designed this very short questionnaire and would love it if you could take 5 minutes to complete it. We will use this information to design the day. The deadline for completion is 31 December 2013. .
