I hope you are all safe and well is this very difficult time for our world.

I am hoping also for your input on the topic of Physician assisted suicide/ Physician assisted death as a presentation again at our annual convention this October, 2020 in Marco Island, Fl.

Many of you may be aware we had a presentation on this at our convention last year. We had some controversial feedback from audience attendee’s and some asked to re-present topic from a different viewpoint.

* 1. Is point-counterpoint a good format for this topic?

* 2. For those of you that heard our presentation last year given by Dr. Karen Nichols and Dr. Leonard Hock, did you have compliments or concerns you did not share on your evaluation?

* 3. Where do we think the ACOI should head on this topic in the future? Especially from a palliative medicine viewpoint with keeping in mind our goal is to educate the general internist and subspecialist?
