Thank-you for taking the time to complete our survey. We asked you to complete our survey because we understand you help provide training on adult support and protection. We are developing a research project on making decisions about risk. Our project is funded by the Big Lottery and developed by researchers from the University of Stirling and practitioners and people who use support drawn from Altrum which is a network of support and inclusion organisations. The research explores with people who use services how decisions about risk should be made. On the basis of the research we will produce guidance for practitioners which will set out what people who use services would like practitioners to consider when they make decisions about risk. It will also include pointers from our project about ways to communicate about issues of risk and protection.
In order to develop a pack that is relevant, useful and engaging to read we consider it important to build on existing training and materials that are already in use.
We are therefore asking for information about the guidance, training materials or resources you are using or referring to in the training that you do in relation to adult support and protection.
We have produced a short survey and we would greatly appreciate your input. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete, and answers you give will be completely anonymous.
