Nonprofit Outsourcing Clearinghouse Program

 25%
The Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York (NPCC) is launching a two-year Nonprofit Outsourcing Clearinghouse program that will explore the potential value of outsourcing* back-office services. The program will primarily help small and mid-sized nonprofits save money and improve management quality in areas such as information technology (IT); bookkeeping and financial management; marketing and communications; fundraising; purchasing; real estate management; risk management; legal services; and employment and human resources.

So that we can help you, we ask that you complete this 5-10 minute survey.

Fifty interested nonprofits will be selected to receive free one-on-one assessments of their current in-house and other back-office services arrangements, the adequacy of available services to meet their organizational needs, current costs of such services, and potential savings available through outsourcing one or more such services. They will also receive recommendations to appropriate potential outsourcing services and providers and help with outsourcing of services where appropriate. Groups that identify themselves as interested in customized consultations (see question 15) will be asked to complete a more in-depth Request for Participation application at a later date.

If you have any questions, please contact Marcia Brown, Director of Programs at NPCC at 212-502-4191, extension 27 or mbrown@npccny.org

* Outsourcing refers to the delegation of key management areas, especially back office services, to outside contractors or vendors, usually on a relatively long-term basis and with the expectation of lowering costs and improving quality.
