. Temporary Employees
Currently OPB hires temporary or project employees, for up to two years. In many cases these employees move from project to project, in some cases for several years, without many important protections, such as layoff rights, a grievance procedure, just cause in the case of discipline or discharge, and other important rights found in the Union Contract. How important is it to you that temporary and project employees share equal rights under a Union Contract?
