1. Introduction
The Northern Forest Tourism Network is an emerging network of businesses, non-profits, universities, and individuals with a shared interest in improving tourism outcomes in the rural Northern Forest. This network is the regional umbrella for the Rural Destination Tourism Initiative, intended to enhance and better coordinate – not replace! – existing efforts and entities. This survey is intended to gather information from Network participants about who we are, what we do, our potential as a network, and how we might best chart our path forward.
