With the financial help of Nordic Innovation, the Nordic Edupreneurship project has been established to assist “early stage companies” in technology-based education and learning products and services in the Nordic region (Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden).
Companies with products or services in mobile learning, game-based learning, and simulation-based learning are of particular interest, but other education and learning companies with innovative products and services are also of interest.
Why participate in this survey?
1) To help us build a network of people and startup companies active and/or interested in technology-based education and learning in the Nordic region. Respondents will be invited to future networking events, conferences, and workshops organized by the project.
2) To help us better understand how the Nordic Edupreneurship project can assist these people and companies to improve their chances for success internationally.
3) To compete for a free place in our “Accelerating Market Success Workshop” in spring 2013 in Norway. From the pool of companies responding to this survey, 10-15 will be chosen for free participation in our workshop in Norway. During this workshop, international trends in ICT and learning will be explored in detail with a focus on market potential for Nordic companies, and participating companies will work with investors, start-up specialists, ICT entrepreneurs, and educators to prepare for potential product pitching in Silicon Valley. These companies will also be invited to participate in a pitch session in collaboration with the Silicon Vikings chapters in the Nordic countries (http://siliconvikings.com/).

Workshop and Results?
To be eligible to be chosen for free participation in our "Accelerating Market Success Workshop", you need to fully complete the survey. We will present a summary of results on our homepage, http://www.futurelearninglab.com/edupreneurship, once the survey results are compiled.

Please note that all survey information and data will be strictly confidential and not used for any other purposes than to build the network and help us select the companies to invite to the acceleration workshop and pitch sessions.
