SANS NetWars – Continuous Play (MS-ISAC Challenge)

NetWars “Continuous Play” is a collection of computer and network security challenges designed to represent real-world security issues, their flaws and their resolutions. NetWars is meant to challenge network and security staff and build the player’s skills throughout the challenges. Each player will receive feedback on the tasks, giving them valuable information so they can improve their skills. To read an overview of NetWars, visit (http://www.sans.org/netwars/).

SANS and MS-ISAC are considering offering the SANS NetWars “Continuous Play” program at the SANS Partnership pricing. “Continuous Play” will have 30-40 hours of playing time that can be spread over a 4 month period. Please answer the following questions so we can gauge interest in this program.

*NOTE* Please answer this survey for your team. Only one team member should complete this survey or it will inflate the results. Feel free to forward to anybody at your organization or community that might be interested in participating.

1. Please enter your contact information below so we can get in touch with you if we have questions about your feedback.

2. The current retail tuition for NetWars “Continuous Play” is $1,999 per student. If we can offer this at a Partnership price of $700 per student, how many people on your team (staff) would be interested?

*
3. As part of this program, we have the option of holding a virtual tournament. No travel is necessary as you play against others over the internet. For those who purchase the Continuous Play at the planned $700 rate, would they also be be interested in participating in the tournament at no additional cost?

4. Would you be willing to promote this program outside your team, such as to other state agencies, counties and local governments?
