This is a survey of teachers who will be leaving their current school or DCPS following the 2011-2012 school year. It was prepared by the Senior High Alliance of Parents, Principals and Educators (S.H.A.P.P.E), S.H.A.P.P.E. is an advocacy organization for the DCPS high schools that has been meeting monthly for 14 years. It is meant to help the public understand the reasons teachers are leaving either their current school or DCPS and to help our community determine how best to advocate for policy reforms that encourage DCPS to support and retain effective, dedicated teachers.
