KPA Resident Survey for Madeline Park Improvements

Dear KPA Member / Kern Place Resident:

You may agree that the Parks—Madeline, Alethea, and Arroyo—in this community provide a great quality of life, add to the value of our homes, and give our neighborhood a distinct feel and character. Your Kern Place Association (KPA) continues working hard to ensure that our Parks are maintained to the highest levels.

Part of the KPA mission is to maintain and improve the Kern Place neighborhood; to that end, KPA, through your membership dues, helps offset the cost of maintaining our great Parks. In partnership w/ the City of El Paso, KPA pays for weed and fertilizer treatments at Madeline and Alethea. These treatments help keep the park surfaces green and healthy throughout the summer. Your membership fees also pay a gardener to beautify and clean the flowerbeds at Madeline on a monthly basis from April to November.

In an effort to gauge community input for further park improvements, the KPA is asking for your help. The first step is to get your input via this survey. Throughout the next year, the KPA will gather resident input, create a priority list, gather cost estimates, do a feasibility analysis, and work with our local government to look at funding sources to pay for improvements.

Please take a minute to fill out this survey. Your input and opinion matter to us. We look forward to gathering this data and presenting the findings in the near future via our website: www.kernplace.org and on future newsletters.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Sincerely,
KPA Board of Directors
