The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback from residents of the Municipal District in regards to the development & subdivision of Agricultural lands. The Municipal Development Plan and Land Use Bylaw guide the decisions for developments in the Municipal District.

1. These bylaws/regulations presently allow the subdivision of a maximum of 4 lots from an Agricultural ¼ section to a maximum of 20 acres in total, provided that the soil rating is no greater than “fair”. (No more than 20 acres can be taken out the ¼ section for this purpose.)

3. The regulations presently allow ¼ sections to be divided in half. Two – 80 acre parcels from a ¼ section. Further to this a maximum of 1 lot up to 10 acres in size can be taken (subdivided) from each 80 acre parcels. Do you think this regulation should be changed?
