. ANALYZING DATA: IDENTIFYING SIGNIFICANT TRENDS AND PRIORITIZING PERFORMANCE CHALLENGES - During this full-day session, local leaders will experience a collaborative inquiry process for analyzing school-level performance data for the required state measures [CSAP achievement (math, science, reading, and writing), the Colorado Growth Model (math, reading, and writing), drop out and graduation rates, and Colorado ACT results]. They will practice writing significant trends and prioritizing performance challenges and will leave with a plan for completing their data analysis with their local planning teams. Participants should bring with them (in paper or electronic form) the currently available recommended data reports for engaging in unified improvement planning (see August 2 and 3 Getting your Data Organized webinar).

. ROOT CAUSE IDENTIFICATION – This full-day session will provide local leaders with the opportunity to build-upon their data analysis in identifying the root causes of their priority performance challenges. Participants will work through a root-cause analysis process related to at least one of their priority performance challenges and will leave with a plan for how they will complete their root cause analysis with their local planning teams. Participants should bring priority performance challenge statements to the session. * Please note: the Sept 14 Training is full.

. ACTION PLANNING - This full day session will build upon planning team data analysis and root cause identification. Participants will identify performance targets and will work through a process for identifying major improvement strategies and associated action steps. They will begin to create a calendar for monitoring progress over the coming school year. They will leave with a plan for how they will complete their action planning with their local planning teams. Participants should bring with them clearly identified priority performance challenges and root causes.
