What is FunRide?
• FunRide is an eco-friendly car-sharing service in San Luis Obispo.
• Car-sharing is a program where a person can rent a vehicle on an hourly basis for his or her own private use, thus eliminating the need to own a car.
• FunRide has taken car-sharing to the next level by offering a full fleet of alternative fuel vehicles (electric, natural gas, biodiesel, and flex fuels).
• By using FunRide as an alternative to owning a car, the average person can save as much as $450 a month on transportation costs.

How to use FunRide:
1. Call or go online to sign up.
2. Submit an application, pay a one-time application fee, and then pay your first year’s membership fee ($30). The hourly charge to use the service is $7.00.
3. Through the FunRide website or call center you can reserve the nearest FunRide car for whatever amount of time you need.
4. When you are finished with the car, simply drive the car back to the same location where you picked it up.

Information collected from this survey will used to ensure that Fun Ride continues to provide the best possible service to you. Additionally, responses will be evaluated to determine the extent to which Fun Ride vehicles contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, roadway congestion and alleviating problems associated with parking, as well as provide greater mobility to its residents, workers and visitors.
