For the past 8 years, Community Living Victoria (CLV) has done a survey of all of the people who use our services about their satisfaction with CLV. These surveys give us valuable information about the work that we do. We thank you for helping us out.

In our 2009 Consumer Satisfaction Survey, you told us that you felt that you were treated with respect at CLV, that staff listened to you, you had choices about what you do and you felt safe within our homes and day programs. Many of you also said you liked where you were living and your day program.

Some of the areas you told us about that you would like to see us improve in were:
-being able to try new activities
-being able to go out more with staff
-having more friends in your life

As a result, we came up with these goals to work on in the following year:

1. Every person in day services will be able to try one new activity.

2. People in residential services, who would like to have more friends in their lives will be supported to try and get more people involved with them.

3. We will make sure that you and your family will get copies of person centred plans that outline the activities you have done and make plans for the coming year.

We have also increased the number of staff who can go out into the community with you in homes and day programs by making sure that they have their class IV driver's license.
