Submit a Poster for the 2012 ISMTE Conference

You have unique experiences and perspectives to share with your peers at the 2012 ISMTE Conferences’ poster sessions.

What are you doing with social media for your journal? How are you using podcasts to draw readers to certain articles? Does your journal operate with an open access model? How did you make the transition? What is your journal doing to optimize citations? Have you dealt with plagiarism, author issues, conflicts of interest, or other ethical issues that you have learned from and could share with others? Are you working to enhance your journal’s online presence? What are you doing? Have you conducted a readership survey? How? What metrics do you provide for your editorial board meetings? Have you ever conducted a virtual editorial board meeting? How does your journal use iThenticate? And much more!

Submissions are due by March 12, 2012.

1. Please list all authors of the poster/abstract, including first name, last name, title, affiliation, and location.

2. Please provide the title of your abstract/poster.

3. Please list 3 objectives for your poster. (What 3 things will someone learn from viewing your poster?)

4. Please provide the text of your abstract (no more than 200 words), describing your poster content (e.g., background, issue, results, conclusion).

5. Please provide an email address and phone number for the contact author.

6. Will one of the authors be present at the conference to answer viewers' questions about the poster?

7. Please add any necessary disclosure information: conflicts of interest, funding source, acknowledgments, etc.

Contact authors will receive information about acceptance on or before April 1, 2012. Information about poster formatting will be available on the ISMTE website: www.ismte.org
