Public Allies has grown from a concept and idea in 1993 to a national movement of leaders throughout the country transforming our communities. Our alumni network of nearly 2,500 community leaders is a core component of the movement and we are seeking to learn how we can best contribute to your leadership development, organize our alumni network and leverage the diverse pool of talent in our alumni network to achieve our strategic goals.

Public Allies is working to achieve the following strategic goals by 2012.

* Grow to more than 1,000 Allies in 32 communities.
* Advance our alumni network of 5,000 members, to keep 80% of them pursuing careers in the nonprofit sector, and help 20% of them obtain executive leadership roles.
* Influence thousands of leaders and organizations through disseminating our best practices.
* Generate almost $100 million in community service while developing thousands of leaders who will contribute effectively to their communities for years to come.

Please help us understand how we can support your leadership development and organize our alumni network by completing this survey by Monday, February 16, 2009. This survey will take no more than 15 minutes to complete. A completed survey will earn you a special Public Allies logo item. All responses will remain confidential. We will not publish or attribute information collected through this survey to a specific individual without written permission.

Thank you so much for helping Public Allies understand your current leadership development role and future leadership development aspirations.
