2.Details of the NAIDOC Week Awards Night and nomination process

Richmond Valley Council will be holding a NAIDOC Week Awards Morning Tea and Flag Raising Ceremony followed by a parade for Aboriginal people in Richmond Valley Local Government Area on Thursday the 4th of July 2011 at the Richmond Valley Council Chambers. The event will start at 10am.

Nominations will be judged by Richmond Valley Council's Advisory Committee. All nominees will receive a gift certificate and small gift with winners receiving a certificate and larger gift. The categories for these awards match the award categories at the national level of the NAIDOC Week Awards.
