The Maine Departments of Education and Health and Human Services and a Committee of Early Learning Practitioners are in the process of reviewing The State of Maine Early Childhood Learning Guidelines.
As part of this process, we would like to ask for your input regarding the types of developmental information that would be most useful to you as you receive incoming kindergarten students. When thinking about ALL students, please consider differences in ethnic background, first language, socioeconomic status, levels of English language proficiency, and/or students identified under IDEA.
