Following the Health Department’s announcement last week that a hospital would be built on the Metford PGH site, the community consultation has been suspended.
The consultation had been undertaken as part of the State Government’s requirements for the closure of the quarry.
We have decided to suspend the consultation process while the implications of the announcement are considered.
We are seeking to work with the State Government to facilitate their proposal and the outcomes of consultation undertaken to date will be disclosed.
