The voting closed on April 17 at 5 p.m. The winning messages will be announced the week of April 20.
The top three messages receiving the most votes will be displayed on 37 electronic overhead message signs systemwide this year.
These signs remind drivers to avoid the most dangerous practices: impaired driving, distracted driving and not wearing seat belts.
