Maine CDC H1N1 Mid-Course Review
Introduction
This survey contains questions about Maine CDC activities in response to the recent outbreak of the Pandemic strain of H1N1 in Maine. Your responses will help us as we continue our efforts to minimize the impact H1N1 in our state and as we plan for future public health emergencies.
A disease surge of the pandemic form of H1N1 influenza A occurred this past fall, from late October through December. The goal of the pandemic response was to minimize the impact of the pandemic on society, including minimizing serious illness and deaths.
A vaccine against the pandemic strains of H1N1 influenza A starting trickling into the state in mid-October with very significant delays due to the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.
This survey asks questions about the major public health functions in a pandemic of surveillance, mitigation, vaccination and communication.
Your responses to this survey are confidential, and the information furnished here will not be linked to identifying information. All responses will be reported only in groups that will ensure confidentiality.
This survey should take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete. Thank you!
