Wolverhampton City Council is facing the most severe financial challenge in its history. Continued reductions in grants from the Government mean that it has to find £98 million in extra savings by 2018-19, on top of the £100 million it has saved over the past 5 years.

In September 2014, Cabinet agreed the proposal to reduce the subsidy to Blakenhall Community and Healthy Living Centre by £100,000. The centre is currently staffed for 85 hours per week; under the new proposal the centre will be staffed for 58 hours per week.

In order to try to ensure this will have the minimum impact on you, we have analysed usage and have come up with 2 possible scenarios for opening hours and now need your help in deciding on the best possible option.

Please take a moment to consider the options on the next page and select which best suits your needs.
