Taste the Local Difference - Northeast Michigan

1. An On-line Survey for small scale growers and agricultural enterprises in Northeast Michigan

The Northeast Michigan Council of Governments (NEMCOG) is working to create more interest and awareness of local foods and agriculture enterprise development in the region.

One of our goals is to create a publication that features information about local road side farm markets, farm markets and other enterprises that provide locally grown foods and agricultural products (fiber, wood, crafts).

Our plan is to prepare the publication this fall with distribution next spring. By so doing, NEMCOG hopes to promote sales in our region and assist you in growing your business.

If you would like your business listed, similar to the Northwest Michigan publication, please complete the survey by September 15, 2010.

If you have questions, please call (989) 705-3733 or email rldeuell@nemcog.org We believe there are many small scale growers and agricultural enterprises in Northeast Michigan and this new publication will promote and support their endeavors.

We look forward to receiving your response.
