2014 Contract Negotiations Survey

SEIU Local 521's contract reopener is April 2014.

Obviously, the District, like all other School Districts, will be facing almost certain financial difficulties due to the Governor's proposed budget cuts to all California schools. The next few years will likely be very difficult, so we need creative thinking, especially on non-monetary items, that will improve your working conditions.

Now is the time for you to tell your Negotiations Committee what you want in the next
contract. Please take some time and complete the survey, letting your elected Negotiations
Team members know what you want to see in the new contract.

Your Negotiations Team members are: Danielle Nunes, Nancy Herrera, Mada Corrigan, Dana Redmond, Darrello Tollison, Diana Semides, Shiela Howe.

Please submit your online survey by Monday, April 7, 2014.

How important is it for you to demand binding arbitration?
