The Business Giving Recognition acknowledges businesses who donate at least 1% of their pretax earnings to the community or provide the equivalent in donations of time through community volunteerism.

Businesses, who complete the qualifying form will be noted in the program at Celebrate Corvallis.

For sixty-two (62) years the Corvallis Benton Chamber Coalition has recognized citizens and businesses for their outstanding achievement in business and in the community. Celebrate Corvallis Awards are divided into three categories, Business Awards, Community Awards and Civic Awards. Each award is based on five (5) objective criteria. Citizens, businesses and civic organization nominate worth candidates between October and November each year. Selections are made by five committees, in December and January of each year and awards are announced at the annual award ceremony held in January.

The Celebrate Corvallis selection process was adopted by the Chamber Coalition Board of Directors in 2007. The purpose of each selection committee (5) is to choose the top three candidates and the winner for each award in the categories identified.
