Managing Intelligence is a key strand of the SVA Programme and is currently developing valuable resources that will support organisations to capture and manage information that will help them deliver and report on Third Sector Interface functions.

The resources being developed will provide all the tools and support required to identify, gather and manage information about local voluntary sector organisations and interaction with these organisations.

The tools being developed draw on best practice and the existing wealth of experience within the networks and will enable the implementation of a common approach to assist in the delivery of targeted and effective services within local areas.

The development of the Managing Intelligence common database system is central to this.

The database will provide local access to a range of Question Sets that can be utilised as organisations require this information about their local sector. These include the agreed core minimum fields (basic contact details and profiling information) and a range of additional optional Question Sets that are being developed in consultation with the intended users of the database system.

Three of these are being developed via other SVA project strands:

1. Common Customer Satisfaction Survey (SVA Quality Matters)
2. Organisation Health Check (SVA Developing Organisations)
3. ICT Self Assessment(SVA Collaboration & Connectivity)

This short survey invites you to comment on and contribute to the development of the other Question Sets and should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. Your input in greatly appreciated and will help ensure that the final Question Sets meet the requirements of the intended users of the system.
