Inner City Business Awards Nomination

Welcome to the 2010 Inner City Business Awards Nomination Page!

We are once again excited to recognize the entrepreneurs and emerging businesses that are making a difference in Milwaukee’s inner city communities. The 2010 Inner City Business Awards luncheon will take place on March 8, 2010 and we would like your input for nominees.

Do you have a relationship with a company located in a Milwaukee inner city community with a story to tell? We would like to hear about it! Companies eligible for an Inner City Business Award should meet these criteria for the year ending 2009:

1. Be privately held (not publicly traded and not a subsidiary or division of another company).
2. Be a commercial enterprise, not a nonprofit.
3. Be past the startup stage and face growth challenges rather than survival issues.
4. Be headquartered in the Milwaukee region.
5. Demonstrate the intent and capacity to grow based on evidence such as:
o Employee or sales growth
o Exceptional entrepreneurial leadership

o Other notable factors that showcase the company's success
