Level 4 BSL / ISL Qualification Survey 2013 |
Signature are looking at introducing a Level 4 BSL / ISL qualification to bridge any gap between the Level 3 Certificate in BSL / ISL and Level 6 NVQ Certificate in BSL / ISL. The qualification could become a stepping stone, allowing learners to build their skills and it will be written against the UK Occupational Language Standards (Cilt, 2010).
As a new Level 4 qualification, learners will have to meet certain standards. For example:
- Take part in unpredictable discussion over extended periods
- Handle a wide range of non standard business correspondence, reports and proposals
- Undertake negotiations on a wide range of topics
We want to know your opinion and make sure that we write a qualification that meets the needs of learners, teachers and BSL / ISL users.
