1. Legal Aid of West Virginia Strategic Planning Survey

Every three years, Legal Aid of West Virginia leads an inclusive strategic planning effort that is enhanced by input from employees, clients, board members, service providers and community partners. This year, we hope to gather this input through this online survey. By answering these 10 questions, you will help us find new ways to support our mission of advocating for low-income, vulnerable West Virginians, seeking equal access to justice, and creating system change in order to improve client safety, health, housing, income and access to resources.

As a reminder, Legal Aid of West Virginia provides free legal and advocacy services to West Virginians in three ways:

1) We handle civil legal problems to support housing stability, health care access, economic security and family safety.
2) We assist residents of nursing homes, personal care homes and other long term care facilities by solving problems and complaints related to their health, safety, welfare and rights, and by supporting their autonomy.
3) We provide critical services to individuals (children and adults) with behavioral health challenges while living in state operated psychiatric hospitals, and in communities throughout our state.

Please complete this survey by Thursday, September 30, 2010. Your individual responses will remain confidential. Thank you in advance for your time and feedback.
