We are glad you have decided to apply to attend the first ever campus leadership retreat!
This year, Lead UMass is launching an exciting new student leadership opportunity through a partnership with the Center for Student Development and Residential Life. All UMass Amherst students are eligible to apply to attend a 3 day/2 night campus leadership retreat in the Berkshires.
On this retreat, students will:
-Meet other students from across campus who are interested in developing leadership skills and creating positive change in their communities.
-Participate in team building activities.
-Learn about who you are as a leader.
-Work with a small group to develop and implement a project to enhance the campus culture.
This retreat will take place May 10-12, and there is no cost to participants. Residential students will receive permission to check out of their rooms late. In order to be eligible you must:
-Be a current student who will be returning to UMass Amherst in the fall.
-Be committed to actively engaging in the retreat experience.
You don't need to be an experienced leader, you just need to be willing to learn!
