MS Psychology Survey

This survey is being used to gather data to assist us in the planning for a new graduate degree at Alverno College, a Master of Science in Community Psychology.

We are taking a unique approach in this program. We are designing a two track program that will allow a student to get in depth coursework in areas particularly relevant to the area of his or her interest and professional goals.

Both tracks share a common core. All students will learn the foundations of community psychology including community systems, networking, and human behavior.

The licensed professional counselor track will prepare you for work as a community counselor. Community counselors work in various settings, ranging from individual counseling practices to counseling practices within agencies and organizations. Coursework leads to license eligibility.

The community research and consultation track will prepare you for work as a behavioral specialist or organizational consultant promoting healthy human development in individuals and systems.
