The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) is conducting research on language teacher educators and their needs for language assessment resources. The goal of this research is two-fold. We are interested in ascertaining which kinds of resources would be most useful for language teacher educators and what the content of those resources should be. We also wish to contribute to the body of research on language teacher educators’ assessment experiences in order to improve the way that language teachers are educated.
CAL would like permission to use your survey responses for research purposes. This would include the presentation of results of the research at academic conferences and publication in academic journals. Any identifying information will not be published or presented in connection with your responses.
This survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Please complete the survey as thoroughly as possible. If there are any questions to which you do not wish to respond, you may skip them. You can exit the survey at any time without any penalty. Your decision to participate in the survey will have no effect on your future interaction with CAL.
If there is anything about this study or participation that is unclear, please contact Victoria Nier at firstname.lastname@example.org or 202-355-1532.
If you have questions about your rights as a research participant, please contact the CAL Institutional Review Board (IRB) at email@example.com or Laura Wright, Chair, CAL IRB, at 202-362-0700.
