Thank you for your interest and participation! This teleconference is set for July 21, 2011 at 1:30- 3:00 p.m. ET.
Justice is More than Jail: What Advocates Can Do to Help Meet Sexual Assault Victims’ Legal Needs
This teleconference illustrates how sexual assault survivors’ legal needs are not limited to criminal prosecution or tort claims for personal injury. Victims need help meeting their most basic (and often urgent) needs such as safe housing, education, employment, privacy, immigration, privacy and financial support.
VRLC presenters Lindy Aldrich, Esq. and Stacy Malone, Esq. will provide an overview of the broad range of survivors' legal needs and discuss how advocates, civil lawyers, prosecutors, law enforcement, and educators can do to help meet these needs.
After completion of this survey registration, you should receive an immediate message on this site confirming your submission. Please anticipate also receiving teleconference calling instructions and materials by email approximately 48 hours prior to the call.
For reporting purposes, please let us know if additional staff from your organization plan on participating by using the same phone line.
We thank you for your interest in this exciting training, and in the VRLC.
