EFR200 Saving People and Place: Preservation and Isle Royale National Park
The learning objectives for this session were:
1. Participants will learn about important concepts in preservation.
2. Participants will gain knowledge about the competing conflicts between wilderness and cultural resources in a remote island park.
3. Participants will gain knowledge about other successful models in parks that preserve both culture and nature.
4. Participants will evaluate the strengths and challenges involved in the establishment of public/private partnerships in national parks.
