Why Participate in this survey?

When money is tight management often defers maintenance to stretch budgets. By completing this survey, you will provide the data needed to assess whether deferred maintenance practices sustain a supportive work environment or if "catch up" maintenance would enable you to do more in your job.

SPSE-UPTE will use the survey to encourage management to maintain successful aspects of the deferred maintenance policy and modify any aspects of the policy that would make it easier for our members, and all employees, to succeed.

We will recognize outstanding facilities and services and work to identify and improve the others. While we encourage you to identify the building to which your response applies in the comments sections, your responses for unidentified buildings will still be useful.

Overview

This survey is grouped into the three sections listed in the first question: 1) Office, 2) General and 3) Science and Engineering. We ask that you answer the first question and at least one of Questions 2 to 4 and encourage you to complete all three questions if they are relevant to your work. If your concern may be classified, bring it to your management or contact a member of the SPSE board - DO NOT provide classified information on this form.
