2. Demonstrate and explain appropriate search techniques for the retrieval of information using print and online resources, including:
a) Identifying appropriate key words and related terms
b) Performing searches using Boolean operators and truncation
c) Using a database thesaurus to identify additional subject terms and descriptors
d) Evaluating search results and modifying search appropriately.
3. Apply basic principles of reference services and effective reference interview techniques to answer factual questions, including:
