This workshop is designed to help parents and teens understand the importance of discussing healthy relationships before teens start dating.

At this workshop you will:

1. Learn about the transition to junior high and the importance of healthy relationships.

2. Explore junior high peer relationships – from “hanging out” to “dating”

3. Identify skills needed to build healthy relationships and prevent risk behaviors

4. Increase skills, comfort and intent to discuss these issues with one another

Childcare will be available for younger siblings ages 3 to 10 if needed.
