Kirkwood's "Newcomers Guide to the Neighborhood."

We want to help families new to Northern Virginia adjust to the area and learn what makes it such a great place to live.

Please share the names and locations of your favorite restaurants, places to shop, auto services, grocery stores, parks you love, places to hike, places that appeal to young children--or your suggestions in any of the other categories listed. All recommendations will be kept anonymous.

This "Newcomer's Guide" project is a work in progress. Make recommendations in as many or as few categories as you wish. If you really like something, we'd like to know why. Write a little or a lot. It's up to you! If you think of something else after you have completed this survey, you may come back and enter more favorites until mid-June 2010. The results, when compiled and edited in a few weeks, will be available on the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church website: kirkwoodpres.com.
