New York City High School League - 2012

1. New York City High School Championships & League Survey

Dear: High School Teacher, Club Director, Athletic Director and High School Team Captains:

There is interest amongst several New York City High Schools to run a high school table tennis championship this spring.

Our organization, AYTTO, works with middle schools to form a highly successful league. At our championship finals last year, we had over 100 students playing and competing.

We wish to provide a similar event for New York City High Schools and currently have eight high schools who are part of our high school committee sending teams. Does your high school have students who would be interested in participating in this exciting event? We would be happy to work with you or your student body directly so your high school could send a team.

American Youth Table Tennis (AYTT’s) mission is to organize, develop, and implement high quality table tennis programs for school aged children that enhance their physical health, character and academic achievement. As a not for profit organization, we have the capacity to offer high quality trainings, mentorships and the needed expertise to ensure a successful league. Please visit our website at www.aytto.org for additional information.

If your school is interested in participating officially as a school and or in receiving future information about a high school league, please visit www.aytto.org to find out more.

We have also included a fact sheet about table tennis. I can be reached at bennisbet@aytto.org or 917-686-1911 to answer any questions that you may have.

Sincerely,

Ben Nisbet – American Youth Table Tennis
