PLEASE CHECK BACK THIS SURVEY MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS ADDED BASED ON YOUR INPUT BEFORE THE END OF THIS SURVEY.

This survey will be used to analyze anonymous data regarding animal rescue in America. Please respond. The results of this poll will be sent to Washington D.C. and to legislators at the end of our survey to give perspective on what is happening in the world of "big business animal rescue" as well as how the donating public feels about information "NOT" disclosed to the donating public.
THESE ABBREVIATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS

HSUS (HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE UNITED STATES)
ASPCA (AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS)
PETA (PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS)
1. (SELECT ONE OR MORE ANSWERS PLEASE COMMENT AND GIVE YOUR REASONING TO HELP IN OUR RESEARCH. YOUR ANSWERS MAY HELP TO FORM ETHICS LAWS) QUESTION: PETA takes in an excess of 30 Million dollars a year. The HSUS and ASPCA take in well in excess of 100 million dollars a year. Most of this donation money comes from individual donors in all 50 states. Many of these groups CEO salaries range in the area of 100-500 thousand dollars a year. These groups own hundreds of millions of dollars in realestate, pensions and stock options paid for with donation money. Due to the enormous amount of money involved and the enormous responsiblity created by this large intake of donation money, do you believe that these national rescue groups/ political organizations such as the the ASPCA, PETA and HSUS who lobby and do "rescues" in all 50 states on a NATIONAL level should have their finances, spending, lobbying and other activities monitored and/or regulated by state or/or the federal government due to the fact that they are active in all 50 states and receive donations and funding from individuals in all 50 states? ( as well as internationally)
2. YOU MAY CHECK MORE THAN ONE ANSWER.. PLEASE COMMENT.. THESE POLLS MAY BE USED TO HELP PASS "ANIMAL WELFARE LAWS" All farms, factories, breeders and other businesses that buy, sell, raise animals for food or other purposes in any capacity are currently regulated in most cases by both the state and federal government. Do you believe that all laws passed that set standards of care for animal should also be applicable to INDIVIDUALS, RESCUE GROUPS, SHELTERS, HUMANE SOCIEITES, SPCAS, ASPCA, PETA, HSUS and other groups such as these that house, home and care for animals? Meaning.. Do you think that rescue groups and other animal rights organizations should be inspected by the USDA and other governing agencies to ensure equality in the law and should they be held to the same legal and ethical code of care as breeders and farmers. If not, why do you believe that all people and groups should not be held to the same standard?
3. Over the years many people have donated to the HSUS And ASPCA for various reasons. We have watched countless commercials over the years that show the ASPCA and HSUS doing "puppy mill raids". Many of the videos have over decades been posted on their sites as well as used to make "puppy mill raid commercials". For decades the HSUS and ASPCA names have both become "synonymous with "puppy mill and hoarder raids". Do you know that the HSUS does not own a shelter that cares for these animals? Did you know that in many cases that the ASPCA does not in care for many of these "raid dogs and animals" either? Did you know that both of these groups commonly send many of these animals to large city "Humane Societies" (city pounds)? Did you know that in fact that over the years many of these animals have been sent to some of the highest kill rate shelters in the United States such as Atlanta HS (ASPCA) and Kern County (HSUS)? Did you know that neither of these organizations take any responsibility nor keep any euthanasia rates of the "rescued" animals that are sent to these shelters? Do you believe that the law should require these groups to include these "kill statistics" in their own "kill rates"? The HSUS and ASPCA do in fact take in hundreds of millions of dollars a year in donations due to these "puppy mill raid" and their commercialization. Do you believe that these groups should be accountable for caring for, homing and ensuring that these animals are homed? Do you think that it is ETHICAL for these groups to take peoples animals, accuse them of animal "abuse" and then not care for any (HSUS) or many (ASPCA) of these animals in many instances and many have ended up euthanized while these groups have for years proclaimed and promoted themselves as "puppy mill dogs saviors" while profiting billions for their efforts? Do you feel that it is "ok" for these groups to not take "personal responsibility and to care for each and every one of these animals when the HSUS and ASPCA both have hundreds of millions of dollars in "donation derived" assets, they also take in another 100 million+ dollars a year each in donations based off of these commercials and they are supposed to employ some of the best vets and animals experts in the world? Should it be legal to allow these animals to be euthanized when the HSUS and ASPCA both have taken in billions of dollars in donation money over the years to supposedly "care for and save" puppy mill dogs? Do you believe that the HSUS and ASPCA were "misleading" the "donating public" while using these antics by not fully disclosing the information above? Please comment...
4. PETA. (PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS) Do you believe that it should be legal for an "animal rights/rescue group" such as PETA to take in donation money (around 30 Million dollars a year in recent years) to "save" animals while maintaining a "kill rate" of 85-97+ PERCENT of all dogs and cats that they have "rescued" every year running/ in existence of this "rescue group"? Do you believe that this "routine" killing of dogs and cats by a "rescue/animal rights group" is indeed an "ethical" act? Do you think that this "routine killing" should be considered to be an illegal act when the "rescue group" takes in more than sufficient monetary donations to house, care for and home most of these animals as PETA does?
5. HSUS POLL QUESTION: Do you believe that the usage of the name "Humane Society of the United States" by the HSUS is misleading to the general population and donating public? Do you believe that this name implies that this group is a NATIONAL RESCUE GROUP/ORGANIZATION and that this group is somehow associated or connected with the "UNITED STATES" government because of the usage of the words "United States" in its name? Do you believe that the usage of the words "humane society in this "non-government" agencies name somehow implies or "insinuates" that this group is somehow connected to local "humane societies" and therefore when you contribute to this group that it is somehow helping local and community rescues who have "humane society" in their name title? Do you believe that in some instances that the donating public may have donated while being unaware of what their donating money was actually going to be used for? (PLS COMMENT)
