Temecula Valley Council of PTAs Survey

Temecula Valley Council of PTAs (TVC PTA) recently recommended to the TVUSD school board that the "D" letter grade return to the high school grading scale with 3 conditions:
1. That a "D" not be considered proficient in the four core subjects (Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts) and Foreign Language, and therefore, available academic support still be offered
2. A 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) be required for graduation.
3. Remediation and support for students at risk of receiving a “D” or “F” grade should start as soon as the student demonstrates difficulty with concepts or subject matter.
The school board has decided to leave the grading scale as it is for now (with no "D" grade available).

TVC PTA wants to hear from parents, educators, community members & students, on whether or not they want the D letter grade.

We ask that you please take this survey so we can determine further courses of action.
