The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers is one of the world’s premier technical societies engaged in the advancement of scientific and engineering knowledge related to maritime transportation. In the last 30 years the environmental aspect of maritime transportation has become ever more important, and the society is committed to advancing sustainable design and operation.
This survey has been developed by the Society’s EC7 technical panel to develop a baseline on environmental knowledge on certain maritime environmental aspects both within the industry and by the general public at large.
This survey seeks responses from both industry professionals and the public on a worldwide basis and we hope you will take the time to complete this survey.
The survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete for general public respondents, and close to 10 minutes for industry professionals.
Your responses are completely anonymous (the responding computer address is not recorded) but your answers will allow the world’s maritime engineers to provide better solutions to sustainable maritime transportation.
