This survey is designed to provide insight into the use of Social Networking Applications such as Twitter and Facebook alongside the use of location based services which may tie in to the process of updating a status on Social Networking Sites.
All data in this survey will remain anonymous, will be used for no other purpose other than my University Project. Results of the survey may be available on request.

Location Based Services (establishing the users geographic location in the world) are an emerging technology, increasingly this data is being used to provide details of where you physically are within Social Networks Application status updates. Are you aware that it is possible to share your location through Social Networking Sites?

3. If you answered Yes to question 2, Have you ever shared your location data via a Social Network? and if so which service have you used?

4. Have you ever accessed a Social Network using a mobile device?

5. If you answered Yes to question 4. Which mobile device have you used to access a social network?

6. Are you concerned for your privacy knowing others may have the ability to view the location of a status update if you enable such functionality within a Social Networking Application.

7. Would you find it useful/beneficial to combine location data from multiple Social Networks into a single mapping application?
