4th Annual Uniform Prudent Investor Act (UPIA) Compliance and Best Practices Survey

Introduction

The following is an annual survey created by The University of Florida Gator Nest Program and conducted by THEInsuranceAdvisor.COM (TIA) and is intended to study prevailing compliance issues and best-practices among Irrevocable Life Insurance (ILIT) Trustees as they relate to the standards of care prescribed by the Uniform Prudent Investor Act (UPIA) as adopted/enacted by each state.

Whether you are an ILIT Trustee or an Attorney, CPA, Insurance Agent/Broker, Consultant or Third‑Party Administrator (TPA) who works with ILIT Trustees, please answer the following 6 questions to the best of your ability (this should take less than 5 minutes). You will also be given the opportunity to elect to receive a free copy of survey results when you enter your e-mail address and be entered into the drawing to win an i-Pod Nano.

Thank you in advance for your help in gaining a better understanding of the fiduciary pitfalls confronting ILIT Trustees, and the tools and resources needed by ILIT Trustees to improve levels of UPIA compliance, and the emerging best practices for the management of TOLI holdings.
