1. A short survey on the role of ecosystem services in local policy - for Countdown 2010 members

 
Intact nature can provide important services and thus contribute significantly to sustain and support socio-economic development. Some believe it is important to value these services in order to be able to better take them into account in decision making at the local level. The TEEB (The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity) study is interested in your experience and opinion. Answering the following questions should take no more than ten minutes and would help the study to better decide what examples and methods to include.
